Mangalore, July 17, 2014: Traffic on the Balmatta Road in Mangalore was disrupted for some time on July 17, Thursday morning after a coconut tree located inside the compound of a house rolled over the road. Even electricity cables were damaged in the process.
The MESCOM mmediately snapped electricity connection in the area to avoid impending danger.
The police and fire service personnel who rushed to the spot helped in clearing the tree from the road and ensuring smooth movement of traffic.
