Cement mixer truck overturns near Natekal; miraculous escape for driver

Mangalore, May 30, 2013: The driver of a cement mixer truck had a miraculous escape when his vehicle overturned   while negotiating a curve at Natekal after he lost control over his vehicle.

 The accident took place at around 3 am on May 30, Thursday.

The driver sustained minor injuries while the truck was mangled due to the impact of the mishap.

Konaje police have registered a case.

In yet another case, the tyres of a truck got stuck in a gap between two roads near Kallaup in Thokkottu. One of the roads was half constructed and water had accumulated in the ditch resulting in the mishap.
