CNG prices reduced by Rs. 2.5 per kg in Mangaluru and DK district by GAIL

Mangaluru, 07 March 2024: GAIL Gas Limited (GGL), the wholly owned subsidiary of  GAIL (India) Ltd., a Maharatna PSU, has reduced the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by ₹2.5 per KG to Rs 81.00/Kg effective from midnight of 6th March 2024/ morning of 7th March 2024.

The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), is an Efficient, Environment friendly and Economical fuel substitute of conventional Automotive fuels like Diesel, Petrol and Auto LPG. It is the most benign automotive fuel taking into the cognizance of tail Pipe emissions and environment friendliness during its exploration and production as well as distribution.

In a landmark step, GAIL Gas has  reduced the price of CNG by Rs.2.50. Per Kg in various Geographical areas across the country. This step will facilitate the accelerated transition to Gas based economy coupled with economical fuel options to vehicle owners.

The GGL’s CNG price now offers attractive savings of upto 40% compared to conventional Automotive fuels like Diesel, Petrol and Auto LPG at current price levels in Mangaluru and Dakshina Kannada Geographical area (*conditions apply)
