Brahmavar,  23, 2024: An incident wherein two women made a vain bid to kidnap a one year old child has been reported from Uppinakote in Brahmavar.

On February 21, two women had  arrived at the residence of Mahima of Uppinakote and had told her that they had come from Mumbai. Later even as family members resisted, they picked up a one year old girl child and took her outside by luring her with videos from their mobile phone.

Mahima immediately rushed outside and snatched the child from the hands of the strangers. Later when Mahima’s elder brother arrived, the strangers escaped from the place.

A complaint has been lodged in Brahmavar police station.
