Body of student who drowned in Panambur traced in sea at Manjeshwar

Mangaluru, Mar 07, 2024: The body of 18 year old student Likhith who was feared drowned along with two other friends after being swept away by strong tidal waves  at Panambur, was traced on Wednesday in the sea at Moosodi in Uppala police station limits.

Likhith hailed from Porkody. The body was decomposed and was identified on the basis of the chain and innerwear which Likhith was wearing.

Fishermen from Uppala brought the body ashore and then informed the police.

It may be recalled here that Likhith was washed away along with his friends Milan and Nagaraj while they were making merry in the sea. They had come to watch the Janapada Parishat event.
