Udupi, May 13, 2013: Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo had announced the first priestly transfer of Udupi diocese.
Udupi diocese which came into existence in October 2012 has made 28 announcements in the form of transfers and reshuffles. The announcement was made in the official website of the Udupi diocese.
Fr Denis D’Sa, administrator of Fr Muller Medical College, Mangalore has come to Udupi. He will take charge of Kuntalnagar church as its parish priest. He is also expected to take a bigger role in the growth of Udupi diocese in the coming days as he is young and versatile administrator.
Apart from enhancing spirituality among the faithful, the Udupi diocese has ambitious plans to promote education and health care in the region
Udupi diocese is blessed with talented and visionary bishop Dr Gerald Issac Lobo, vicar general Mnsgr Baptist Menezes, and many other lively and talented priests.
