Bhatkal youth stopped from boarding flight to Sharjah

Bhatkal, Jun 11, 2015 : A youth from Bhatkal trying to board a Sharjah flight was stopped by immigration authorities at Bangalore airport on Wednesday.

Bhatkal youth stopped from boarding flight to Sharjah Arsalan Ahmed Qazi was asked whether he knew Yaseen Bhatkal, to which he said he had no contact with him, he was told that his passport details need to be verified.

He was made to wait for two hours, by then the Air Arabia flight took off and later his passport was returned.
Arsalan is pursuing his education at Jamia Islamia in Bhatkal. He was visiting his parents in visit visa to spend his vacation.

The people of Bhatkal expressed their anger at the airport authority over the discrimination towards the people of Bhatkal. The people are pressuring the minister to take up the matter.

The Bhatkal people have condemned the incident and hinted at taking legal action in this matter.
