The arrested have been identified as Hussain, Irshad and Imran from Demmale in Mallur. Meanwhile, police are on the lookout for two prime accused in the case namely Isaac and Altaf.

Police had first arrested Hussain and apprehended the other two on the basis of the revelations made by him. In fact the arrest of Hussain was easy as police could easily identify him owing to the mole in his face.

If Hussain and Imran have been remanded to judicial custody, Irshad is in police custody.

It is suspected that the murder was an act of vengeance as Rajesh who was earlier arrested on charges of the murder of Iqbal at Goremar rubber estate in Pachinadka in 2008 was later acquitted by court.

SP Dr Sharanappa had formed a special team led by Lingappa Poojari, Belthangady Circle Inspector to nab the accused.
