9 yr boy fatally knocked down by gas tanker near Uppinangady

Puttur, July 6, 2014 : A nine year old boy Mohammad Aslam lost his life when he was run over by an LPG tanker on the NH 75 near Uppinangady on July 6, Saturday.
Aslam was on way to a local playground at Hirtadka to watch cricket when the mishap took place.
He was the son of Ashraf of Hirtadka and was a class III student of Matha Higher Primary School.
The gas tanker was on way Mangalore from Bangalore. The boy died on the spot. Puttur traffic police have arrested the tanker driver and have registered a case.
