15 passengers seriously injured in bus-truck accident near Kasargod.

Kasargod: August 6, 2015: Atleast 15 passengers were seriously injured after the bus they were travelling colided with the truck on the National highway near Thekkil on Wednesday, August 5.

The bus was going towards Kanhangad from Kasargod and the truck was on its way towards Kasargod.

According to the sources the bus driver was over speed and lost control over his vehicle, as a result the bus crashed the truck which was comming from the opposite direction.

The injured passengers have identified as Jamila (44) Ibrahim (51) Mariambi (38) Bus driver Narayana (45) Bus cleaner Achyutha (51) Shahima (22) Ibrahim (55) Savitri (40) Hussain (48) Abdulla (40) Abdul Rahiman (45).

Jamila was critically injured in the accident was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru.

Both the truck and bus were seriously damaged in the accident. The local gathered at the spot soon after the accident and informed the police who then arrived at the spot. The injured were rushed to different hospitals in Kasargod.

It is learnt that the negligent driving by the bus driver resulted in accident.

So many incidents take place but still never learn from it. Just see the state of the bus, passengers of the first seats might be seriously injured. Its because of one persons mistake...................
