The patient Parvati Sharma was brought to hospital in critical condition and after keeping her in observation for two hour, she was declared dead by doctors.

The patient’s body was later brought to home.

When the woman’s family were preparing for her funeral, they reportedly observed some ‘movement’ in her body and immediately rushed her to hospital.

The doctors at the hospital declared her dead for the second time after keeping her in observation for two hours.

In between this, the doctors called the police. When the police officials were busy in documentation for panchnama, the family members again spotted some movement in the woman’s body and she was again admitted in the observation.

The doctors again declared her dead irking the family members, said  a police officer.

As the news spread, local MLA Kawasi Lakhma and district panchayat president Harish Kawasi also rushed to the hospital.

Speaking to this reporter, duty doctor at the district hospital, Dr Dipesh Chandrakar, said, “Woman was not alive when she was again declared dead. Usually, body make some movement after death and the entire phenomena is known as rigor mortis-stiffening of body parts after death.”
