TV actress Tinaa Dattaa molested on board Jet Airways

Mumbai, Dec 12, 2016 : At a time when the country talks about being a world leader, the country was shamed by a shocking incident where popular TV actress Tinaa Dattaa known for her role in TV soap Uttaran, alleged a fellow passenger of molesting her on board a Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Rajkot.

 

"I called for the air hostess Ms Pooja and Mr Abhijeet to intervene in the matter, but they were not at all helpful. Instead they had the audacity to tell me such things happen...," she said.

The victim took to social media to describe her plight.The actress went on to allege that first she wasn’t allowed to meet the chief pilot, who happens to be the commander in chief of any flight. And when she could meet him, the pilot allegedly shirked responsibility.

Jet has denied the allegations though. In a statement, it has said, "A Jet Airways guest travelling on flight S2 4081 from Mumbai to Rajkot filed a complaint with the cabin crew against another guest, seated in proximity to her, for inappropriate behavior. The crew took due cognisance of the complaint and allocated a different seat to the latter guest. As per standard operating procedure, the cabin crew informed the security agencies who have taken the matter over. At Jet Airways the safety of our guests is of paramount importance and any inconvenience caused is regretted."

This is not the first time Jet is embroiled in a controversy. But this time around the allegations are serious in nature.
