However, no amount of compensation can bring back Captain Pranjal, he said, and as usual the media’s attention shifts to other issues. It is important that their parents are provided adequate support during this difficult time.

He further said, I am CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D.K. I request Shivkumar not to delay this and immediately release a compensation of Rs 50 lakh to the parents of Captain Pranjal.

Surya said, making the supreme sacrifice at the young age of 29 is a heroic act that will inspire every generation.

He said, I am CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D.K. for not limiting our tribute to Captain Pranjal to one day and for taking inspiration from his memory to the youth. I request Shivkumar to name Jigani Main Road after Captain Pranjal. This will be a small but lasting tribute to honor the sacrifice of Pranjal.
