student According to the police, the deceased is Harsha Jagadish, a resident of Srinagar. He was studying diploma in mechanical engineering at PES College. Harsha lived with his parents Jagadish and Lakshmi, who supply chapathis to restaurants.

On Tuesday, around 1 pm, Harsha was walking on the road near Water Tank Park, close to PES College, when four youths on two motorcycles attacked him. The gang took to heels as a crowd gathered, said the police.
