MCC Qatar to Stage Pradeep Barboza’s Play ’Sangon Mugdana’

Doha, 24 July 2011: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), one of the oldest expatriate socio-cultural clubs in Qatar in its endeavour to serve the community since its inception in 1992 is all set to stage another mega cultural program, a comedy drama “Sangon Mugdana” by Pradeep Barboza on 30th September 2011 at the Gulf Cinema.

Dubai-based Konkani’s young playwright, director and actor Pradeep Barboza’s recent hit Konkani play ’Sangon Mugdana’ is all set to be staged now in Doha after several success shows in UAE and Mangalore. Pradeep with his 14 member troupe from Dubai is staging this hilarious Konkani comedy “Sangon Mugdana” (Never ending tales) for the seventh time to the theatre lovers.

The play has already been a hit and successfully presented in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Kirem and Alangar Parishes in Mangalore. Except couple of changes, almost all the actors of the original cast will perform at this show too.

All konkani lovers are cordially invited to the show.
