Youth dies in serial mishap at Mukka

Mangalore, June 25, 2014: A serial accident involving a two-wheeler, a Maruti Zen and a Tata Ace vehicle claimed the life of a 19 year old youth at Mukka Junction on June 24, Tuesday night.

Dulshak Ahamed The deceased Dulshaq Ahmed (19), son of Abdul Razak of Suratkal was riding the Honda Eterno bike along with his younger brother Sahik when the mishap took place. A Tata Ace vehicle which was on the wrong side and was over speeding collided head-on with a Maruti Zen vehicle when the bike in which the duo was riding got caught between the two vehicles.

If Dulshaq, a student of St Aloysius College lost his life, his brother,a student of Govinda Dasa College sustained injuries.

It is learnt the Maruti Zen was heading towards Mangalore from Udupi and the Tata Ace was proceeding towards Udupi from Mangalore.

Suratkal traffic police have registered a case.
