Though are tracked, some of them have been found violating the government’s strict order of home-quarantine. The list of travellers is handed over to the Taluk administration and the police for tracking them. If anyone is found violating the order, a criminal case will be booked against them.
"We would recommend to permanently seize the passports of those who have returned from foreign countries and do not adhere to the strict guidelines. About 1,100 people are under home quarantine across the district. The district administration is pasting stickers outside the residences of those who have been recommended for home quarantine by the doctors" he added.
