Mangaluru, July 29,2017 : A delegation of the DK District unit of the Sri Rama Sene has submitted a memorandum to the district administration seeking a CoD investigation into the case of suspicious death of Kavya, an SSLC student of Alva’s educational institution of Moodbidri.
The memorandum pointed out that only a CoD investigation would throw light on the facts that led to the death of Kavya. "The institution was trying to find out ways to hush up the case which has raised several doubts as Kavya was a very active girl who was studying in the institution since the past one and a half months," the memorandum pointed out. The organisation has also demanded a compensation of Rs 25 lakhs to the family of Kavya.
The memorandum was accepted on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner by Additional DC Kumar. Sri Rama Sene district Chief Jeevan Neermarga, divisional General Secretary Harish Amtady and Durga Sene District President Vijayashree Pumpwell were in the delegation.
Kavya, the only daughter of Lokesh and Baby couple of Kateel Devaragudde was found hanging in her hostel room on July 27, Thursday.
