Puttur : Youth dies, six injured in lorry-jeep collision

Puttur, Sep 3,2016 : A head-on collision between a lorry and a jeep at Golithottu in Puttur taluk on September 3, Saturday has claimed the life of a young man while injuring six others.
The deceased is Chidananda Acharya (31). He was an employee of a jewellery shop at Nelyady. The lorry was heading towards Mangaluru while the jeep from Uppinangady was proceeding towards Nelyady.
The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Puttur. Traffic Police of Puttur have registered a case.
