Mangaluru, Feb 22, 2024: CCB police have arrested two men who were wanted in many cases but were absconding without appearing before the court. Both of them have been handed over to the Konaje police.

 

Arrested


Those arrested are Abdul Fayan (26) of  Natekal and Moidin Hafeez alias Abi (47) of Taudugoli. Of the two Fayan was wanted in as many as 23 theft cases. While in judicial custody had had also faced the allegation of assaulting fellow under-trials. After securing bail he had not appeared before court since two years and was arrested from Bengaluru.

Moidin was wanted in drugs peddling cases and he too had evaded appearing before court after securing bail. He was arrested from Meenja near Manjeshwar.
