Mangaluru, Oct 17, 2015: As epr reports, AAP - Aam Aadmi Party is all set to launch Bribe Free Karnataka, rally in the district to create awareness against corruption.
As a part of the campaign, the party volunteers will visit Sub-registrar office, Regional Transport offices and see to it that the officers carry out their duty without taking bribes. Addressing reporters in Mangaluru Oct 16, AAP district unit spokesperson Rajendra Kumar said, a week-long program "Bribe free Bangalore" was arranged in Bengaluru from Oct 13 to 17. The corrupt practices in the govt and the Lokayukta were the main issues. The DK District Aam Aadmi party will launch the movement in the district from October 17, he said.
The campaign is not against any government office or political parties, he clarified. A helpline has also been started by the AAP and was inaugurated by freedom fighter H N Doreswamy.
The Helpline Number is 93425 22223. Anyone can call the number and register complaint. The campaign will be intensified in all taluks and villages in the days to come, Rajendra Kumar added.
District Team Leader Dr Mercy Pinto, district secretary Rohan Shiri, district treasurer Ramadas Acharya and district convener Alex D’Souza and others were present.
