Man allegedly assaulted two women over petty issue in Ullal

Ullal: September 22, 2015: A complaint has been registered at Ullal police station regarding an assault by a drunken man on two women over petty issue.

The accused Michael (20), hailing from Tamil Nadu was plucking coconut from a tree in Talapady. While he was plucking, the cable connection fell on the ground to which Nebisa (60) asked Micheal to repair it.


Irked over her behest, Michael allegedly assaulted Nebisa. When Nebisa’s daughter Asma (26) intervened in the matter, he even assaulted her.

Thereafter, Michael immediately escaped from the spot. Both Nebisa and Asma were injured in the assault and were admitted to a private hospital in Thokkottu.

A case has been registered at Ullal police station
