Mangaluru, Nov 2, 2014: The Mangalore City Corporation which had offered to bear the entire estimated amount to construct a road under bridge (RUB) at Jeppu-Kutpady, has released a sum of Rs 3.61 crore to the railway department.

It is for the first time, the MCC has borne the full amount for the RuB project. The railways had said that it would undertake the project, only if the Corporation bears the entire project cost, refusing to take it up on costsharing basis.
