Kundapur: Housewife jumps into well with 3 yr old kid

Kundapur, June 29, 2014: In a tragic incident reported from Navunda in Maski village of Kundapur on June 28, Saturday, a young housewife has reportedly ended her life by jumping into the well along with her three year old daughter.

The deceased are Nagaratna (25), wife of Mahesh Devadiga and the couple’s daughter Trisha.

Though the exact reason that drove Nagaratna to the extreme step is still not clear, the suspicion is that some family dispute might be the reason for the same.

The mother and the child had all of a sudden gone missing from home in the evening and after a frantic search by family members the bodies were traced in the well at around 10 pm.

Byndoor police have registered a case and are conducting the investigations.
