Kasargod: Woman stabbed to death by her husband

Kasargod May 6, 2016: In a tragic incident where a woman was stabbed to death with severe injuries in her neck at Mayungal on Thursday May 5.The deceased has been identified as Lakshmi (50) resident of Karadka Padikochi, her husband Gangadhara is absconding.
She was brutally murdered by her husband with a knife as body found in the backyard of her daughter’s house. Both were staying in their daughter Gayathri’s house for the past one month.
Gayathri’s husband Ajith returned home in the afternoon when Lakshmi was not to be found at home and were in search, as Lakshmi’s body was found in the backyard.
Her husband Gangadhar is absconding and police is in search of him. Body has been shifted to Pariyaram Medical College for post mortem. Kanhangad DySP K Sunil Babu, Bekal circle inspector Bharatan visited the spot and investigated.
