Mangaluru, Feb 10, 2024: City based International Society For Krishna Consciousness  (ISKCON) Branch organised their 20th Annual Sri. Krishna Balarama Ratha Yatra at P.V.S Building Complex Kodialbail Mangaluru. President of ISKCON Hubli  Sri Rajiva Lochana Dasa in his address he revealed the significance and purpose of Ratha yatra and said that ISKCON is engaged in spreading communal harmony and universal brotherhood among the people around the world.

Alvas Education Trust Vice President Vivek  Alva, was the Chief Guest he expressed his happiness over the spiritual activities of Iskcon and his association with them in Mangalore, Abhinav Bansal Director of A.K. Bansal Group graced occasion as Guests of honour. Iskcon Bangalore Sri Sridham Krishna Dasa and Thatva Darshana Dasa were present, donors and patrons were felicitated on this occasion – President of ISKCON Mangalore Sri Gunakara Dasa welcomed the gathering, Vice President Sanandana Dasa proposed vote of thanks, Smt. Vidya Shenoy compered the programme.

After performing the special puja symbolically florally decorated and illuminated colorful majestic chariot carrying Sri Krishna Balarama deities / idols  movement was flagged off from P.V.S. Kalakunj complex. Large number Devotees of Sri Krishna Balarama and followers of ISKCON participated in large numbers and drew the chariot which passed through the city main streets reciting Bhajans, Keertans and chanting ‘Hare Krishna Hare Rama’ and dancing in front of the chariot. During the course of Ratha Yatra, devotees offered flowers, fruits and Mangala Arati expressing their devotion and dedication to the Lord Later Prasadam was distributed to the all present.
