Mangalore, Mar 27, 2014: The ATM kiosk of Dena Bank, located near the Central Railway Station in Mangalore was damaged in a fire mishap on March 26, Tuesday evening. Luckily, the cash in the ATM machine was unharmed.

The ATM centre is located close by the Canra Bank.  A short circuit  sparked a fire in the ATM machine and locals immediately alerted the traffic police who informed the fire service department. The fire tender vehicles which rushed to the spot, extinguished the fire.

The Bank officials who arrived at the spot took the cash worth several lakhs which was in the ATM machine to safe custody.
