Family pleads Home Minister for thorough probe into Rohith death case

Mangalore, Mar 31, 2014: If police investigating into the case of suspicious death of a medical student Rohith whose head was found severed  at the Tannirbavi beach road on March 23, have maintained that the student died in an accident, the family of the youngster is not convinced.


rohith 1The parents of Rohith have now lodged a complaint with State Home Minister KJ George requesting a thorough probe into the case of death of their son. They claim that their son was murdered and that he did not die in an accident.


If Rohit’s mother Dr Shreedevi is a senior paediatrician at Al Hilal Hospital in Bahrain, his father MS Radhakrishnan is an advocate at Pattanamthitta in Kerala, the hometown of Rohith.


Even Kerala State Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has asked Karnataka Home Minister to ensure that the case was thoroughly investigated.
