Derlakatte case: Accused had pre-planned the crime

Mangalore, Mar 23, 2014:  Investigations into the alleged kidnap of two medical students of Derlakatte,  forced sex and blackmail case,  on the basis of the charge sheet filed by the police before the Third JMFC Court have made it evident that the whole incident was pre-planned.

The charge sheet which runs upto 554 pages states that the eight member gang was conspiring since some time to resort to such an act with the intention of extortion. As per the charge sheet, all of them face charges of abduction, criminal intimidation, gang rape, blackmail, extortion and attempt to murder and also face charges under different sections of IT Act.

It has been gathered that some of the accused in the case were wanted in connection with other crimes too and that they had tried to misled the probe into the Derlakatte case by mentioning the names of the home stay attack accused to the investigators.

Another allegation is that the assailants had forced the male victim to consume Viagra tablets.
