Mangaluru, Mar 31, 2017 : Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Producers Ltd (DKMUL) has hiked price of milk and curds sold under the Nandini brand and new rates are applicable in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district from April 1. This follows a decision by the state government and the Karnataka Milk Federation to revise the rates to help farmers who are caught in the midst of a price spiral of all essential items pertaining to dairying activity undertaken by them due to persistent drought in most parts of the state.
