Nejaru murder

The accused had sought the parole by filing an application on February 8 stating he must be granted parole to travel to Sangli in Maharashtra and participate in the last rites of his brother who passed away on February 1.

However, his parole petition was objected by the Assistant Public Prosecutor who argued that giving him parole would lead to law and order problem. He also said the accused must not be granted parole as he had not submitted the death certificate of his brother.
