The congress government in the state taken revolutionary steps in decentralisation and empowering the PanchyatRaj system by amending Acts in accordance with the recommendation of Former Speaker Ramesh Kumar committee, Oscar Fernandis said interacting with the media.
The new Act has allowed 20% funds given to the panchayats to be untied.
