City’s prominent journalist and social activist appointed KPSC member

Mangaluru, July 12, 2018:  According to  copy of letter,  issued by the Karnataka Government Secretariat Bengaluru on July 11, Tuesday,  made available at ’Mangalore Today’; the Governor of Karnataka has appointed Ronald Anil Fernandes as a member of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).



The Tenure is not specified.  It is due to be made public in the extraordinary state gazette of the day.

Dr. Ronald Anil Fernandes, is a well known journalist and senior editor of the esteemed daily, Deccan Herald.  He has earned a PhD, from Mangalore University.  Known as a social activist, he has served the region well in several capacities and has been awarded several awards local and national, including the ’Rajyotsava award’. Public consider it a matter of pride for DK in particular and wish him all success in the future.
