Broad daylight burglary attempt foiled at Talapady

robbery13july9 1Mangalore, July 9, 2013: A vain bid to burgle a house has been reported at Devipura, Talapady during broad daylight on July 9, Tuesday.


It has been gathered that the thieves made way into the house of one Keshava  when he had been to a neighbouring house.


However, when they saw Keshava’s wife Sadhana inside, they shot her with a hand pistol. Luckily, she escaped unhurt as the  fire shot hit at the wall of the house.

Meanwhile, Keshava rushed inside with  a baton when the thieves managed to escape. Ullal police are conducting the investigations.
