Bank manager murder case : Cops arrest prime accused in Surat

Mangalore, June 24, 2013 : The Urva police who are investigating into the  case of mysterious murder of  Anjana, an Assistant Manager in Katipalla Branch of Syndicate Bank, have been successful in nabbing the prime accused in the case.

Mahesh,  said to be the boy friend of the deceased Anjana, has been arrested by the police at Surat in Gujarat and brought to Mangalore.

It is suspected that Mahesh had strangulated Anjana to death before fleeing from his house at Bejai-Kapikad in April.

It is said Anjana who had joined work at Syndicate Bank just eight months prior to her murder, had an affair with Mahesh, a north Indian who  in the past had worked as security supervisor at a hotel in Mangalore.

Investigations are underway.
