30 year old killed at midnight freedom party by friends at Thokkottu

Mangalore, Aug 16, 2014:  As per early reports, in a tragic murder which at Thokkottu Junction near here late on Friday August 15 night, a man was stabbed to by persons with whom he was allegedly partying.   Yathish (30) from Someshwar near here is identified as the victim.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At a gala party near a bar in Thokkottu Junction to celebrate  Independence day, some people who were apparently  drunk started a  fight and were intoxicated heavily.  This fight  soon got out of hand and resulted in the killing of  Yathish (30)  it is stated

The weapon, a knife, was said to have been used i n the fight  was recovered there.   It is said that some persons one of them identified as Uday  all known to Yathish, stabbed him in the abdomen with a knife. Critically injured he was rushed to a private hospital in the city  and succumbed to his injuries. 

As per information the victim an auto rickshaw driver by profession was killed by  those at the party.  The  was at the house of Yathish, where his friends identified as  Ganesha, Udaya, Sathish, Vikram, Vinay and may be others too.

It is said that Uday had poked fun at Yathish by mentioning the name of a girl during the party,  which angered Yathish leading to the  quarrel between the two.  Uday and others, who left Yathish’s home thereafter, went near the said bar and invited Yathsih to come there too. When Yathish came  he was stabbed it is said. The Ullal police are dealing with the case.
