The police have ruled out abduction after preliminary investigation.

Malik told police that she had left her home on Feb 29 because she was unhappy with her family members over some domestic issues.

She left her home on her own accord, police said.

She moved to several places, including an ashram in Haryana, over the past three days, it has been revealed.

She also said she made a PCR call to inform the police that her family has no role in her disappearance.

From the CCTV footage and other evidence, it’s clear it is not a case of kidnapping, the police said.

Currently, her statements are being verified and further details in the case would only be known later, a police officer said.

A medical examination was conducted on her and she is medically fit, the officer added.

Shipra had earlier claimed that she was kidnapped by three people from Noida and taken to Gurgaon.

Later it turned out that she staged-managed her own abduction because she was under pressure over payment of an outstanding loan.

Though the details of which at the moment are still sketchy.

The Noida Police questioned her two brothers and her father before coming to the conclusion that Shipra was never abducted.
