Hafiz Saeed invites SRK to PakNew Delhi, Nov 4, 2015: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was attacked by right wing groups for his comments against intolerance, has now been invited by 2008 Mumbai terror attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed to Pakistan. In a series of tweets, the Jama’at-ud-Da’wah (JuD) chief invited the actor to make Pakistan his new abode.

Hafiz tweeted, "Any such Muslim, even Shah Rukh who is facing difficulty and discrimination in India because of Islam are invited to stay in Pakistan".

Speaking during a question-answer session with Twitter users hosted by India Today’s Rajdeep Sardesai, Shah Rukh pointed out that the biggest mistake a patriot can make was to go against secularism in India.

"Yes there is intolerance, there is growing intolerance. People put words in the air even before thinking. We keep talking about new India, but if this country is not secular, happy in its approach and allowing people to be... the youngsters are not going to stand for it. It’s stupid to be intolerant," the actor said.

Hafiz Saeed’s tweets came after King Khan was called a Pakistani agent by senior BJP chief Kailash Vijayvargiya and Hindutva bigot Sadhvi Prachi over his recent remarks on the rising intolerance in the country. On Tuesday, the BJP chief had called the actor anti-national and someone who ’lives in Hindustan but his soul is in Pakistan’.

Whereas, Sadhvi Prachi said that Shah Rukh was a Pakistani agent and should go and stay in Pakistan. "Shah Rukh Khan is an agent of neighbouring country Pakistan as he reflects their (Pakistan’s) ideology. Such a man should go to Pakistan," Prachi said.

Meanwhile, Hafiz also invited other Indian intellectuals, who are joining the bandwagon returning their national awards to protest against the growing intolerance and violence in the society. In his tweets, Hafiz said that discrimination against minorities in India indicated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s India no longer remains secular.

"Discrimination against minorities in India particular Muslims are proof enough that Modi’s India no more secular. Its fascist Hindu state."

"We welcome Indian Intellectuals raising voice against intolerance inflicted by Hindu extremists if & whenever they come to Pakistan."

He further invited those facing discrimination to JuD’s ongoing relief efforts for minorities in Pakistan.

"We would be pleased to demonstrate to them JuD’s ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts for minorities living in Pakistan."

"Even the renowned Indian Muslims in the field of sports, academia, arts and culture are fighting a constant battle for identity inside India."
