Sep 16, 2015: Most people go for the low hanging fruit. Not this elderly Chinese woman - who makes light work of climbing a tree to get that really hard to reach good stuff.

Apparently 97-years-old, she shocks the crowd with her show of poise and agility.

Wearing a scarf around her neck like a cape, this is no ordinary woman - she’s a modern day, tree climbing, superhero.

Reached the top: The woman looks content after getting to the upper branches

In this impressive video, shot in China, she talks to intrigued onlookers in front of her fruit stall.

Then remarkably she climbs up the tree, rests on a branch and surveys the crowd below her.

There’s a mixture of awe and concern from the people standing by.

No need to worry though - she climbs back down exactly the same way. Easy.
