This is what happened when two intelligent gorillas discovered a hidden camera in their zoo enclosur

Amusing footage has emerged showing exactly what happened when a troop of gorillas stumbled across the GoPro camera hidden in their enclosure.

 

The video, filmed at Royal Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem, Netherlands, features the intelligent apes discovering the camera.

They then decide to take a much closer look, and begin inspecting and touching the contraption.

At one point, a pair of cheeky gorillas even appear to be trying to work out how to remove the camera from its fixed position.

The zoo said in a statement: "The brilliant video footage is priceless.

"Once again, the intelligence and curiosity of these magnificent apes has been proved."

Gorillas are known to be highly intelligent, but don’t tend to be as curious as other primate species, such as chimpanzees.
