Real life Spiderman? Daring window cleaner wears superhero suit to scale 78th floor

Sardi the ’Spiderman’ has been cleaning the windows of a hotel in Solo, Indonesia, for two and a half years and has earned a reputation for dressing as Spiderman he works.

The 35-year-old masked crusader scales the building using just ropes in his dedication to clean the windows up to the 78th floor.

Sardi took the job because he felt compelled to conquer the heights, but it does not come without its downsides.

The Spiderman costume is heavy and tires Sardi out, and the face mask can leave him gasping for air.

Guests at the hotel often watch Sardi clean the windows, and members of the public even stop to admire his handiwork.

Earlier this year the UK had its own superhero in the shape of the Bradford Batman, aka Stan Worby, who was later arrested for burglary.
