Moment ’Jesus’ falls from the cross...Batman-style

Mar 31, 2016: Footage of the incident reveals the frightened actor, complete with long curly locks and a white Jesus-style loincloth, clumsily tumble off the cross.

He tries to hold on for dear life, grasping onto the robes supporting the cross.

But despite his best efforts, he falls into the alarmed crowd.

 

The condition of the man remains unknown.

One user said: "That awkward moment when you’re trying to be Christ, but you end up looking more like Tarzan."

Another user joked: "Haha! That’s what you get for using ’No more nails’."

The dramatic fall is said to have happened during Easter celebrations in Santa Barbara, in the south-west Guatemalan department of Suchitepequez.

The video has already become a social media phenomenon with 300,000 views and almost 3,000 comments.

It was originally uploaded on Facebook group "Operaciones especiales Mexico" (Special Operations Mexico).
