Heartbreaking footage shows dog BURYING its dead brother after he’s hit by a car

Feb 27, 2017: Heartbreaking footage has captured the moment a dog helped to bury his brother after he was hit by a car.

 

Video believed to have been filmed in Buriram, north-east Thailand, shows the pooch shovelling soil with his nose into a shallow grave.

His brother lies partially covered with dirt on the hole by the road.

In the clip, filmed on Wednesday, the grieving hound briefly pauses to sniff his fallen sibling before returning to the burial.

Social media users were moved by the footage after it was posted online yesterday.

A teenager wrote: "I’m a 16 y/o guy but I legit wanted to cry, I would do anything for the dog who was pushing the dirt".

Another viewer: "They must have been really good brothers."

One user found significance in the dog using its nose to shift the soil, writing: "Pay attention to his behavior. He’s not using his paws. He’s using his nose to displace dirt.

"Is it he showing respect? Dogs are wonderful!"
