A picture of an apparently ’invisible’ car online is blowing people’s mind

Sep 15, 2018: A photo of a seemingly invisible car has baffled viewers online. 

At first glance, the picture appears to have captured someone’s leafy front yard.

 

But upon further inspection, a stray wheel and door handle hint that there is much more to the photo that meets the eye.

The image actually shows a pristine black car mirroring its surroundings, including a  pool of bubbles and nearby trees.

The photo clearly stumped users responding to the post on Reddit, with one admitting it took them more than two minutes to find the car.

One commenter praised the quality of the handiwork that went into cleaning the vehicle, describing it as ’proper level paint care’.

Others suggested the image was fake and had been doctored, saying a crack in the ground was shown in the reflection but not in the paving itself.

Some users were quick to make reference to the movie Predator, with one saying they got vibes of the aliens in the 1987 thriller classic making themselves invisible when they noticed the distortions in the car’s paintwork.
