The stunning Bollywood actress knows how to keep her style statement low-key yet trendy enough to make her fans go gaga over her. The actress recently posed for the cover of the Porter Magazine a.k.a Porter Edit. No, she did not wear a gown or heavy traditional attire for this shoot. Instead, she kept things simple with a denim outfit as the theme of the magazine was "denims and diamonds", Yahoo reported.

 

 

The dimpled actress shared the magazine cover on her Instagram account. She wrote, "Shine bright like a diamond![with a whole lot of denim!] #PorterEdit @PorterMagazine." Deepika wore an over-sized blue denim shirt paired with blue jeans. She styled her hair in a bun and let her sparkling diamond statement earrings do the talking. She also kept it cool with her no-makeup look with just a bit of brown lip shade to add some charm. On the work front, DP will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak next. She plays the role of an acid attack survivor named Malti, based on the real-life acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. Sharing her experience of working in this film, she told Porter, "I felt like myself. It made me realise how you look externally is such a small, irrelevant part of what you are. I think people would expect me to be horrified. Or emotional. Or scared. But I was at complete ease with the way I was, with the way I looked and felt.” Well, Deepika sure knows how to meld simplicity with style and efforts!
