Women thieves caught red-handed by the public

Mangalore, April 26, 2012: The public caught two women for stealing and presented them to the Kadri police on April 26 Thursday.

The women were caught red-handed trying to steal bags from Suraya Banu, who was travelling in a private bus at 2:00 p.m.

Suraya, who was on her way to Fr. Muller Hospital, noticed that two of her bags were missing when it was time to alight. When she raised alarm, some of the other passengers, observed three women trying to get away with her bags. They caught the women and made enquiries.

One of the women, however, gave everybody the slip.

The arrested are Saritha and Seethe of Tamil Nadu. The identity of the third woman is not yet known.
