Mangalore, June 16:  The Goodinabali Welfare Association, based in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with Talent Research Foundation, based in Mangalore, organized a "Come Back to School" programme at Hayatul Islam Higher Primary School and distributed free books to students. 


MLA Ramanath Rai, who presided over the programme, said that a high school will be set up in the locality in response to a memorandum presented to him by the local unit of Goodinabali Welfare Association. The programme was inaugurated by Goodinabali Masjid Khatib Abdul Rashid Sakhafi. 


G. Mohammed, the president of the masjid; G. M. Mohammed, the former correspondent of the school, Haji G. Yousuf, the president of the school managing committee; Jamiat-ul-Falah, the unit president of Bantwal; Mohammed, the assistant forest conservator; Mohammed Iqbal, the vice president of the town council; entrepreneur Mohammed Hanif; office bearers of the Talent Research Foundation; B. K. Abdul Karim, the president of the Goodinabali Welfare Association; Secretary G. K. Abdul Khader; school correspondents; and members of the coordinating committee were present. 


Teacher B. Ramachandra Rao made the welcome speech; Mohammed Shamiulla was the comperer; and Haji Noorul Amin expressed gratitude.
