Mangalore, Feb 28: Western Institute of Technology will organize a job fair on April 23 -24 at the Dr TMA Pai International Convention Centre in Mangalore. 

Entrance is free. The organizers expect more than 20,000 engineering, nursing, management, medical, hospitality, safety, networking, hardware, and postgraduate candidates from different parts of DK, Udupi, and Kasargod to attend the job fair.

Western Institute has also invited foreign companies seeking employees from Karnataka to directly recruit without any middlemen or employment agencies. The job fair will serve such companies are a platform of self-promotion as well as recruitment. 

A career guidance and personality development programme will be organized in the auditorium from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for PUC students and from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. for degree and PG students.

The sessions will include seminars, interaction with career experts and professionals. Topics such as “Goals of Education,” “Career Choice,” and “Scope or Demand in Various Sectors of Industries or Companies” will be dealt with.
