Two saved from drowning by lifeguard at Someshwar beach

Mangalore, May 10, 2012: Two persons were saved from drowning at Someshwar beach today by Lifeguard Mr.Ashok, posted by Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project.

A lady by name Sanchala, wife of Santhosh from Permannur aged 35 years tried to commit suicide by jumping from the rock after consuming poison and was rescued immediately.
 
In another incident Mr.Suresh from Bettampady, Uchila aged 45 years also attempted suicide by jumping into the water in the noon. He was resued Lifeguard Mr.Ashok again.
