Mangaluru, April 26, 2016: According to police reports, 3 shops were burgled at 3 different locations in Manipal and 41,400 in cash, in all, was taken away.

 All the three incidents of theft took place between 8.15 p.m. on Apr 24, Sunday and 8.30 a.m. on Apr 25, Monday.

A general stores shop at Tiger Circle was broken into and about Rs. 7,000 in cash was taken away. In the other incident, Rs. 17,500 was taken away from the cash counter of a general stores shop near DC Circle.

In the third incident, a women’s fashion retail shop at Lakshmindra Nagar was broken into and Rs. 16,900 in cash was taken away.   Three cases have been registered at the Manipal Police Station. Investigation is in progress.  said.
